Sui Dhaaga Movie Review: Tailor-Made For The Masses

I do not remember a film where there was no evident line of division between the 'supporting' cast and the lead.
Sui Dhaaga is simple, heartwarming, and to the point.
The film is a kind that holds you by your hand and takes you with it.

The natural transition of moving from failure to success in Mauji and Mamta's personal and professional life was written and performed brilliantly.

The only thing that irked me was Anushka's inability to shed a few tears on the many occasions that she 'breaks down'.

The cast and crew of Sui Dhaaga have managed to put the thread through the needle's eye in the first attempt!
This one should not be missed.

I don't know who nailed the 'confused' face better, me or Aayush Sharma. 90% of the film he had a question mark on his face and 100% of the time I questioned my decision to allow my husband to drag me to this one. Namaste England Movie Review: Mallika Dua Steals The Show

Jasmeet (Parineeti Chopra) has only two goals in life - one is to settle in England and the other is to marry Param (Arjun Kapoor). They meet, fall in love, and get married over a song. The rest of the film is all about how Jasmeet will do just about ANYTHING to get residency in England. Because of this, we were put through 2 hours and 20 minutes of utter crap. I felt like some writers think the audience is naive so they churn a story around anything and everything. There are a few funny moments but overall you can laugh at the film and not with it.
